What does KiGoo do?

KiGoo brings integration between Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook to a whole new level. No more synchronization needed, KiGoo gives the opportunity to use your actual Google Calendar through the Microsoft Outlook user interface. All the information is kept on the Google servers, so you don’t have to worry about synchronizing it. The information is always managed online.

Will KiGoo be sending personal information from my computer?
No, no personal information is going to be sent to a KiGoo Server. In Fact, there is no personal information exchange with our servers. All the Calendar information is retrieved and updated between the client machine and Google Calendar servers through the KiGoo client application.

What are the minimum system requirements for KiGoo?
KiGoo currently runs on Microsoft Windows XP (sp2) with Microsoft Outlook 2003 or 2007(sp2). It also requires Microsoft's .Net Framework version 2.0 or higher.

Do I need Administrator privileges on my computer in order to install KiGoo?
Yes, you must have administrator privileges to install KiGoo.

Do I need to have a Microsoft Exchange Server account or a POP3 account to use KiGoo?
No, KiGoo does not need of any email account to be configured or used in Microsoft Outlook.

Will the appointment created with KiGoo be reflected on the web version of Google Calendar?
Yes, absolutely, any operation performed in Microsoft Outlook will have the expected effect on the Google data, and will be shown correctly through the Google calendar web interface. In order to see the changes, however, you might need to refresh the webpage.

Can I attach documents to the Appointments?
No, there is no support for documents attached to the Appointments, since the Google Calendar Service does not currently have this support either.

How do I uninstall KiGoo?
Go to though the following menus Start -> Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs -> KiGoo. Then Click "Remove"

Does KiGoo work along with other Microsoft Outlook plug-ins?
Yes, since KiGoo is a new Message Store (like a PST) it should not interfere with any other plug-in.

Does my Google Calendar information get into a PST file?
No, no information from Google calendar is stored in the local machine, neither in PST files nor other storage format.

Can I see multiple Google calendars in Microsoft Outlook using KiGoo?
Not in this version. We are finishing a new version with this feature and more.

Can I install KiGoo in any path that I choose?
In this version you cannot select the path where KiGoo will always be installed. KiGoo will be installed in: C:\Program Files\kigoo

I created an Event from the Google calendar and I cannot see all the text of the “What” field in KiGoo. What is wrong?

The reason for this behavior is because Microsoft Outlook supports a max of 255 characters while Google calendar support 1024. This happens with the “Where” - “Location” field too.

KiGoo asks me to install Microsoft Office 2007 Primary Interop Assemblies, what does that mean?
The KiGoo application requires the Microsoft Office 2007 Primary Interop Assemblies to work properly. This component is already available to be installed automatically in the KiGoo Installer. However, it can be manually downloaded from the following URL

I can’t see free busy information for a particular Google user. What’s wrong?
The user may have not shared his free busy information, or your credentials are not checked to be remembered in the KiGoo configuration form. The Free Busy feature needs to have the “remind me” checkbox set to “true” in order to work properly.

Yes, you can but first visit the Google Calendar homepage, enter your Google Account email and password, and click on "Sign in".

No, you can not in KiGoo V1.0 beta but you will be able to do it in the next version to be released.

The KiGoo V1.0 beta does not support special characters, but it is going to be solved in the next version.

In KiGoo V1.0 beta you need more than 5 characters to log in to Gmail but in the next version you will be able to connect using a valid account no matter how many characters it has.

It is because Outlook has different fields than Gmail. We only map the following ones in this version: Name, Email Address, Display As, Phones (mobile, home, business) and First Address. For the next version, all the fields are going to be managed.

You should have configured your proxy in internet options. For that, go to control panel, select internet options, go to Connection tab and then click over the “Lan settings” button. Here you are able to configure the proxy for internet.
